IF you have Purchased UK/US Clay Global Prepaid Card

GettingStarted

Break out the SIM card from the plastic card > Insert SIM card into your phone > Switch on your phone > Enter your five digit PIN Code > Make your calls. Please remember your PIN because you need to use the PIN every time you switch off your Mobile phone or pull out the SIM card.

Making Calls (These instructions remains same for every profile )

1. Dial: [+]>[Country Code]>[Number]>[#].Press Send.
2. You will see a message saying Please Wait or Call Not Allowed. This is quite normal.
3. You will then receive an inbound call on your number.
4. Answer the call - wait for a few seconds and you will be connected to the person you called.

Please Note: Your Clay Prepaid SIM card must have credit to make outgoing calls. Always dial numbers with full international dialing code even if you are making a local call within the country, for example dialing in U.K 78XXXXXXXX would become +44-78XXXXXXXX. The outgoing Caller ID sent to the called party will be determined by whichever profile is active

Receiving Calls

UK / Global Profile(used as default profile):
For people to call on your Clay Prepaid SIM number, the customer just has to dial your mobile number with UK code. I.e. +44-79XXXXXXXX (Prefix(+44) followed by Phone Number).

USA Profile:
For people to call on your USA profile, the customer just has to dial your mobile number with USA code. I.e. +1-XXXXXXXXXX (Prefix(+1) followed by Phone Number). Note: Turn Back the leaf to know more about profiles or call us at 1800-102-1113

Online-Recharge & Call Details

Clay Prepaid user can view/pay bills and purchase additional talktime by logging on to our website www.clayprepaid.com. To Login, use your phone number (accompanied by 44 in front) as Username and 8 digit PUK number as Password. The Login ID and Password remains constant regardless to the profile you use. You can also purchase additional talk time from Clay by dialing 154.

Using Voicemail

Voicemail is automatically enabled on your account. You will be sent a text message indicating the presence of each Voicemail. To control Voicemail, you have the following options:

Dial:
*121# Access Messages (Plays in the order of last received).*122# Turns Voicemail on.
*122 (XX)# Sets the time interval before voicemail starts (12245 = voicemail begins after 45 seconds).
*123# Turn Voicemail off (disable).
*125# Check Voicemail Settings

Text Messages

Clay supports standard text messaging (SMS). For outgoing messages you must always dial + and country code before any number. Note: Outgoing and Incoming SMS depends on the profile you are using during the time of sending message.

Call Conferencing

You can use your Clay Prepaid Global SIM to turn any call into a conference call. Once you have the first person on the line, simply dial #*3. to add people to conference call. Repeat this sequence to add additional parties to the conference call.

IF you have Purchased UK/US Clay Global Prepaid Card

 

Profiles

Your Clay Prepaid Global card gives the flexibility of having both UK & US numbers on the same sim card. You can have simultaneously use two numbers by using their respective profiles. You can receive calls on either of these numbers at anytime in any country; however there will be an additional costs for receiving calls on the USA number. Please note: The instructions for dialing and receiving calls remains same regardless of any profile you use.

USA Profile:

The USA Service should be active only in the United States. A user has to subscribe for the USA profile in order to get a new USA number. With this profile you can have two numbers on the same SIM card . To activate the profile dial *160# from the handset and follow the instructions. Your new number will be notified to you via Text Message. Please note you have to pay extra charges for activating this profile, which would be deducted from your account balance.

Changing Profiles:

You can swap between profiles on the go depending on the country of your travel. To swap between Profiles find SIM Services or SIM Menu in the handset menu. Then hit the Roaming Services entry and select the required Profile and save.

*(Note that by deactivating the USA Profile you will lose your existing USA number, To reactivate, follow the process given above to get a New USA number).

While In Italy, Please switch to Prime Roaming profile to get a seamless network
